A hand resting on a feverish forehead. The night nurse starting her shift as the city falls asleep. The neighbour carrying groceries up for the lady on the third floor. Taking care is health long before medicine. This winter, photograph the gestures that mend us: the ones we give and the ones we receive.

Ideas to get you started: a home carer on her rounds, a carer and their loved one, a village pharmacy, a yoga class in the town square, a coach helping a fallen athlete up, a vet at work, hands that bandage, soothe and reassure.
The challenge: a series of 3 to 5 images that tells a story, to submit between 11 January and 21 March 2027.
Who it's for: photographers, all of them. Those who make a living from it, those who dream of it, those who never leave home without their camera or their phone. Here, only your eye matters.
What's at stake: our jury of photographers and image professionals selects one image from each of 50 series and names the season's winner, who receives an exhibition print. These 50 images join the great 200/200 fresco in late 2027: four seasons, four winners, 200 perspectives brought together.
