Biography

Originally from Brittany, Sébastien Léas has often been the first to witness the passage of storms and disturbances from an early age.

After studying science in Brest, he began his career as a meteorologist in the French Air Force as an aeronautical forecaster, with support missions in the former Yugoslavia (2001) and Central Asia (2002).

In 2005, he joined Météo-France, where he worked for 2 years as a forecaster in the Picardie Departmental Center, followed by 2 years in the Commercial Division.

Since 2011, he has been a forecaster at Météo-France's Media Unit, where he prepares the maps used on TV and radio, and trains presenters on the forecasts.

At the same time, for the 8th season, he is a weather presenter on France Inter and France Info.
