Thierry Bizot
Author, TV producer, and Businessman
Author, TV producer, and Businessman, Thierry Bizot created the Production Company ELEPHANT in 1999 with his partner and friend Emmanuel Chain. 
ELEPHANT chose to diversify its activity to all types of contents with its different subsidiaries (Magazines with Elephant et cie ; Fiction and Series with Elephant Story ; Games and Entertainment with Elephant TV ; Documentaries with Elephant Doc ; Event, Internet contents and new markets with the corporate focused Elephant at Work). 
The ELEPHANT Group has produced more than 100 successful programs since its creation (magazine « Sept à Huit » on TF1, TV series « Fais pas ci, Fais pas ça » on France 2 and « WorkinGirls on Canal +…). 
ELEPHANT is today one of the most important independent producer on the French TV market and employs more than 120 people. The ambition of its two founders is now to develop its activity abroad. It created a subsidiary in Italy in 2012 (Elephant Italia) and invested in 2013 in a promising startup producing TV shows for the UK Market (Chalkboard TV). 
Thierry BIZOT Graduated from ESSEC in 1984. He started working for L’Oreal in 1986 as product manager, before being appointed Marketing Director, and finally Managing Director of L’Oreal perfume in Belgium. In 1995, the French national broadcaster M6 proposes to him the Direction of its music and entertainment Department (he launches there Flashback, Graines de stars, Fan de, Hit Machine, Plus vite que la musique…). In 1999, he becomes Director of music and magazines of the Group and launches the M6 Music Chanel. 
Thierry Bizot has published several books : Nous n’irons plus chez Elle (Seuil), Ambition & Cie (Seuil), Tout à coup le silence (Seuil), Catholique Anonyme (Seuil), Sauf miracle bien sûr (Seuil). His book Catholique Anonyme was adapted for cinema by ELEPHANT in 2010 (Qui a envie d’être aimé?).
