Biographie

Pierre Terdjman is a 32 year old French photojournalist. Terdjman started his career as a staff photographer for the left-wing Israeli daily Haaretz. He moved back to France in 2007 to take a job as a staff photographer at the Gamma Agency. He has worked on post-electoral violence in Kenya, the Russian-Georgian conflict and Haiti after the earthquake. In Afghanistan he spent a year following a French military unit for Paris Match. More recently he photographed the Arab Spring, covering the fall of Ben Ali in Tunisia, the fall of Mubarak in Egypt and the liberation struggle against Gaddafi in Libya. His work is regularly published by Paris Match, Newsweek, The New York Times and GQ Magazine. He is represented by the Cosmos Agency. His work in Haiti was presented as part of a two-man show with Jerome Sessini. His work on the Arab Spring was shown in theTblisi Month of Photography festival. He is currently working on a project about ecology in France supported by a grant from the Ministry of Culture.
