This image is part of an ongoing project that aims to look at women's friendships after 6o years old. I decided to lay the lens of a woman from my generation onto the sisterhood of my mother's generation. Here my mother is with her best friend of 40 years, Brigitte. Brigitte & Brigitte met when they were both care workers and they are now both retired, but their feminism is stronger than ever. This image represents the rest of two 'Gladiatrices'.
