12 of July I was in Portugal for the first time. The reason? To document the wedding of Julie & Maxime, a young French couple living in Lisbon. A long-awaited wedding, postponed two times due to COVID. For me was my very first Destination wedding and the first wedding since the pandemic. 17 long months without photographing a wedding. Normally I should have stayed till the first dance, but I couldn’t avoid to feel the beats, the atmosphere of “finally party” that this young people brought with them. Small weddings are my favorites, people really enjoy themselves and celebrate love, life and freedom.
