Romaric Pech is a young French photographer.
He was born in Paris in 1990 and began photography in 2005.

At first, he took landscapes and his work was mainly focused on lighting. Then, he played with backlighting, first with animals and then with people.
He thought he was always standing too far from his subjects.
His pictures evolved with age, his vision and his material.
Then, he began to work in the streets and when he received his first Leica, he became a whole new photographer.

His material helped him to use photography differently.
He moves with his subject, and... from now on, he has become a real people photographer. He has taken pictures of many events, getting closer to his subjects. He has been a urban photographer for 4 years and he loves when there is some humor in the pictures. Perhaps because his mentors are Elliott Erwitt, Robert Doisneau, Joel Meyerowitz or Bruce Gilden.

In 2012, he won the "Epson Photo & Digigraphy" prize for the contest "Exceed Your Vision" with a black and white picture.
He was recently exposed by Epson to the MAC2000 Paris (Manifestation d'Art Contemporain) in december 2013.

In 2014: Prize-winner of
the first "Grand Prix Photo international de Saint-Tropez"
