‘Tal Muleja – Co-owner of Bakery, Qala, Gozo, Malta, 2019’ Together with her sister, Tal Muleja handles all the work at a village bakery that once belonged to their grandfather – a very special bakery, albeit without a name or working hours. Shy in front of the camera, Tal Muleja is strong when it comes to carrying all the items piled up in front of the shop into the interior, waiting to be burned in the grandfather's old stove. The choice of bakery products is limited, with only one type of bread and buns; whilst the choice of items to be incinerated ranges from branches and stumps, through discarded pieces of all kinds of furniture, to old TV sets and car tyres, whose sharp odours pierce through the old grandpa's chimney.
