A boy half submerged in one of the most polluted rivers in the city. Adi Ganga, the nearly 75 km long original channel of national river Ganga, has been hijacked at several places. Years of so called modernisation has polluted the river with plastic, debris, cultural offferings and other what nots. Many a times plastic materials have been found floating on the canal bed. Finally the municipality has imposed heavy penalty on anyone found polluting the river.
