Biography

In 1970 Michel Dejeneffe created a theater company for children in Belgium that eventually performed his first puppet shows. This is when he created his puppet Tatayet. Between 1979 and 1985 he had several shows at L'Olympia in Paris and went on tour in France, Belgium and Switzerland with artist such as Pierre Bachelet, Patrick Sebastien and Serge Lama.

In 1986 the first season of the"Tatayet Show" aired on prime time on the Belgian TV channel RTBF. A few years later he created the show "Arrête de remuer les lèvres quand je parle" (Stop moving your lips when I talk).

In 2005 he began training and teaching his ventriloquism technique to professionals in the performing arts. A year later he gave a conference on ventriloquism at Centre Georges Pompidou museum. His show "En famille" is currently on tour throughout French speaking countries.
