Every year coming to Palm Beach, an unguarded beach near Akko (Acre), we’d find this landmark, quite the eyesore, an unfinished tower. Two years ago I received a video showing the building falling down. Alas, the landmark is gone. A battle to privatize the coast and beaches of the country is silently and heedlessly raging.
