Biography

Sylvie Meunier was born in 1973 in Fontenay-sous-Bois, where she lives and works today. She studied fine arts and obtained a D.E.A. in Arts & Image Technologies at Université Paris 8.?In 2011, she created the Instantanés Ordinaires association, which collects anonymous and amateur photography. That same year, she was awarded the Lo Pardal International Prize during the Emergent–Lleida Festival in Spain for her installation on the façade of Guillem Viladot Foundation and the House of Visual Poetry Foundation. She exhibited the series Quand je serai grand (When I Grow Up) during Les Photaumnales Festival in 2012 and at La Jetée Gallery during Marseille-Provence 2013.
