It was the last day of Séna, the Japanese girl who lived in the same small hostel as me, in Tasmania. My plan was to do nude work in a forest; she had expressed the wish that a portrait be taken of her, naked. The next day, we were in the neighboring "bush", like two kids, having fun and being amazed. I asked him to sit in the hollow of this dead, charred tree. Seeing her from behind, the scene reminded me of a renaissance painting – “don’t move!”. And this cliché was born, without us having thought about it :)
