I created this "psychedelic" photo from a photo of a "bird of paradise", taken in my parents' garden! This plant with the profile of a bird (yes, look closely: it looks like it has a beak and a crest!), with its shimmering colors, lent itself well to one of my favorite manipulations in post-production : the mirror effect!
