Siaka S. Traoré (Burkina Faso-based photographer)

An engineering graduate from Burkina Faso, Siaka S. Traoré developed a special interest in the visual arts at a very early age. After living in several African countries, his studies took him to Senegal where he discovered different urban cultures, and where he found his inspiration for his photographic work. 

Photography taught him to be open-minded and to remain attentive to his environment. Through the camera lens, he sees the beauty in all things and seeks to share it regardless of the subject. He is totally receptive to all subjects. 

Galleries were quick to pick up his work, which is now exhibited all over the world. 

Siaka S. Traoré has gradually become a go-to photographer on the contemporary African photographic scene as his work continues to mature and diversify.
