Biography

Born in Santiago de Chile in 1968, Rodrigo Gómez Rovira emigrated to France in 1973 during his family's exile. After completing his studies in human sciences and communication in Paris, he devoted himself to photography. It was in 1996 that he returned to Chile after boarding a Polish freighter.
The photographer is a member of the agency Vu , lives and works in Valparaíso, where he has been leading the Festival Internacional de Fotografía since its creation in 2010.
After Repertoire (Raul Gomez, 2013), which brings together his father's photographic archives, Ultimo Sur is Rodrigo Gómez Rovira's second book.
