Biography

Richard Fasseur finds his inspiration within art with a particular interest in the colours of Flemish paintings and the principle of design and composition of Japanese paintings. He has embraced many aspects of photography during his career including studio photography, wildlife photography and photojournalism. He focuses now his work on communities living closely with nature such as French farmers in the Aubrac province or Mongolian nomads. He is a member of Gamma-Rapho and the author of several other books including one about Mongolia.
