Biographie

Melanie de Groot van Embden, 27, is a Franco-Dutch director with a strong taste for adventure. Her first documentary Urban Escape, co-directed with photographer David Rueda, takes us through dozens of abandoned and forbidden places in America. She began as a reporter in Berlin after graduating from Sciences Po in Strasbourg. She then specialized in European journalism and worked for France 2 foreign correspondent in Brussels. She is currently working on a second episode of Urban Escape with David de Rueda.
