Biography
Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 1998, Letizia was first trained in painting, but her aesthetic quest quickly turned to photography encouraged by the artist and professor Valérie Belin.
Letizia Le Fur's photographic writing is somewhere between reality and fiction. His photographs tell short stories like visual poems.
Inspired by painting and cinema, she invokes light, colors, textures and the setting to create her own atmospheric scenes. A silhouette, a fleeting shadow, a night flower or an abandoned car become the characters of possible dreams. And by juxtaposing these images an unconscious echo is formed, thus creating endless stories.
She delivers her talent through exhibitions, advertising campaigns (Air France, Ruinart, SNCF, Clarins, Nivéa ...) and in the press (Voyageurs du Monde, Air France Madame, Wad, Psychologies Magazine, Le Parisien, Les Echos ...)
In 2018, she won the Leica / Alpine Prize. She created a carte blanche in the form of a road trip which will give rise to an exhibition at the Leica Gallery. This is not a map editions publish it in the form of a photographic road map.
She is currently preparing a monograph for the series La riches des continents et la providence sur les hommes en flee with the Rue du Bouquet editions (coming out next fall).
