Biography
Jonathan Thevenet was trained in silver photography and black and white printing techniques at the Magenta workshop in Villeurbanne, directed by Dominique Sudre.
He then devoted himself fully to culinary photography, which allows him to satisfy two passions: fine cuisine and artistic photography.
His travels in Asia have influenced his tastes, through striking culinary discoveries such as in Hong Kong, Taipei or Tokyo.
At the same time, his photographic research led to personal creations, including the series "Lyonnaiseries", which was the subject of a report in the program Échappées Belles - Lyon, la gourmandize en héritage.
In 2021 he received, in collaboration with François Vermeere-Merlen, a double distinction: the Grand Prix des Ambassadeurs du Produit & the Grand Prix du Festival International de la Photographie Culinaire, with the series "Anatomie d'un sentiment".
