Plus jeune, vers le milieu des années 2000, mes parents ont cédé et m’ont offert un appareil photo pour capturer mes sessions skateboard avec mes amis. Mais en 2015, une rencontre avec une artiste, Emmanuelle Brisson. Elle fut brève mais ô combien importante pour moi. Il y a très peu de chance qu’elle se souvienne de moi, mais elle m’a permis de voir ce qu’on pouvait créer avec un appareil photo et de l’imagination. Le champ des possibles m’a alors « éclaté à la gueule » et plein d’idées (trop d’idées peut-être) sont alors apparu dans ma tête et j’ai réalisé à cet instant que cet appareil, allait être mon objet d'expression pour un (long) moment.
