This photo, taken in 2015, was several months in the making. At the time, I travelled several times a week to La Rochelle by TER or TGV and saw this magnificent crane rusting away at Surgères station. According to Earth, in 2023 it will still be there. Let's hope some railway workers or Surgères residents take an interest. This photo was obviously taken from a train window.
