Biography
Born in Oxfordshire, England, in 1993, Eleanor's passion for photography began at the age of twelve. As her work gained popularity online, magazines including British Vogue, The Independent and Dazed & Confused took notice of her pictures and wrote articles on her and her photographs. Because of such press recognition, Eleanor has since been commissioned to shoot for clients including Harper's Bazaar, Tatler, Jack Wills, Polydor, Sony, 125 magazine, Bullett, Marie Claire Enfants and Lomography to name a few. Eleanor is also a staff photographer and writer at Tavi Gevinson's Rookie Magazine, one of the most popular magazines for teenage girls and also created for the mostpart by teenage girls. Eleanor's work often explores both the realities and unrealities of her experiences of transition from teenage girl to young woman, and both the real beauty and surreal confusion that comes in this time of limbo between childhood and adulthood. When Eleanor is not taking photos, she spends the rest of her time creating art in other mediums or traveling, exploring and attending music festivals.
