Biography

David Desrimais is a publisher and digital expert based in Paris, France.
Founder and director of JBE Books (Jean Boîte Éditions, founded in Paris 2011), he publishes books for the digital age, in the fields of art, humanities and poetry. Produced hand in hand with artists and authors from all over the world, all publications are designed for international distribution (currently in fifteen countries).

At the University of Clermont Auvergne (UCA), David Desrimais works as an associate professor (PAST) in the Master Création Littéraire, Parcours Édition (CELJG) - as well as an associate researcher at CELIS (Centre d'étude de la littérature et de la sociopoétique).
Previously director of digital projects at the Fondation Cartier (2007-2017), David Desrimais regularly works as an expert and director of digital projects for cultural and scientific institutions, as well as for private clients (Mobilier national, IDDRI-Sciences Po, Mairie de Paris, Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Google Arts & Culture...).
