Damarice Amao is a photography historian and a doctorate in art history. She was co-curator of the exhibitions Jacques-André Boiffard (Center Pompidou, 2014) Éli Lotar (Jeu de Paume, 2017), Photography, Class Weapon (Center Pompidou, 2018) and Dora Maar (2019). She recently served as Charlotte Perriand's curator. How do we want to live? Photomontage policy for the 2021 edition of the Rencontres de la photographie d´Arles. She is currently working in the photography office of the MNAM-Center Pompidou as a conservation attaché.
