Biography

Christine Ollier is an art historian and specialist in strategy, communication and cultural development. She curated monographic and thematic exhibitions in the field of contemporary art and photography. Co-founder and director of Les filles du calvaire gallery, in Paris and Brussels, from 1996 to 2016, she pursued a solo career, devoting herself to the design of cultural projects and exhibitions, to the publication of critical texts, playing as well the role artistic adviser towards artists and collectors. 
Since 2017, she has designed and is working on setting up the Champ des Impossibles, an artistic and cultural platform in a rural area, in the Perche Ornais, in collaboration with the Municipality of Perche-en-Nocé. At the same time, since 2018, she has set up an artist residency and mediation program with the production of works and editions of residency notebooks. In 2019 launched the Art and Heritage Trail in Perche which irrigates the territory by investing in heritage places.

She is a Knight of Arts and Letters and a Knight of the Order of Merit.
