This series tells a dreamlike journey of summers by the sea on the Mediterranean coast. It addresses the relationship with our heritage, at a time in history when natural spaces are in danger. In addition, the pandemic has affected our ways of living, thinking and being in the world. This leads us to reconsider the way we inhabit the world and to rethink our relationship with nature. Immersed in a universe where the notion of time remains vague, the sea becomes a subject of representation but also a space of freedom and fiction. My gaze also explores the superimposition of two images, a dialogue between a portrait and a landscape. The portrait reveals the complicit links with the people photographed and thus bears witness to the experiences shared with others. The portrait is created in the moment, leading to spontaneous and intimate settings. The landscape is an interpretation of the moment experienced with the people represented. The juxtaposition of the two brings a rapprochement between the different aspects of nature and human relationships. The portrait-landscape composition merges two views from the same relationship and leaves room for the imagination. The viewer creates correspondences between the two images, being able to offer him a reading towards an interpretation of his own. With film, I like to experiment with new things, which is what led me to experiment with overprinting. Overprinting is a technique that allows you to go further in conveying a message or an emotion by telling one or more stories. Based on reality, we can also show others an unrealistic vision, our point of view on the world which lets our imagination and our dreams shine through. My images each represent a testimony of my experiences, my travels, nature, or even the city where I grew up. They call on memories, on memory and for some it is a way of making the link between landscape and intimacy. They form a series of simple everyday scenes and perhaps even fragments of a single story.
