Biography
Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël is a multifaceted French artist and photographer, who likes to play with the codes and icons of consumer society.
Passionate about art history and design, the artist is inspired in her practice of contemporary photography by surrealist, conceptual and pop art trends. His artistic universe reviews the many themes of contemporary society, such as the work entitled "Omniphone", which deals with the omnipresence of the mobile phone in our lives, and which earned him a prize awarded by the National Institute of Audiovisual (INA) in 2019.
In her "Omnifood" series, she seeks to denounce the ubiquitous food waste in our society.
The common thread of his artistic approach is the diversion of objects and images. She likes to break codes and received ideas to question the viewer while having fun experimenting with photography.
All his contemporary photographs are "handmade". No computer tricks or photomontage is carried out for the composition of his subjects.
