Biography
Anne Lacoste holds a doctorate in art history and began her curatorial career in the Photography Department of the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles in 2005. She was then curator of exhibitions at the Musée de l'Elysée, Lausanne from 2011 to 2017. His exhibition and publication projects cover the history of photography through monographs by Felice Beato, Paul Strand, Irving Penn or Philippe Halsman, and themes such as portraiture, contemporary American photography, the history of the slide, the Photomaton, photographic collections and archives. Since 2017, she has been Director of the Institute for Photography.
