Biographie
Since 2012 Alexandre Labasse is the general director of le Pavillon de l'Arsenal, and editor of the publication of Le Pavillon de l'Arsenal, the first municipal European center specialized in the promotion of architecture and urbanism of the French metropole through exhibitions, conferences and debates.
Alexandre Labasse curated the exhibitions Re architecture, Work in Process - nouveaux bureaux nouveaux usages, oeuvres construites 1948-2009 in co-production with Le Centre Georges Pompidou. He initiated the film collection Paris Architectures, le Prix Grand Public des Architectures Contemporaines de la Métropole Parisienne and L'Université Populaire d'Architecture.
Alexandre Labasse is a member of the administration committee of L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville, and a member of the editorial committee of the magazine l'Architecture d'aujourd'hui, where he edits a column dedicated to international emergent architecture. He also authored the exhibition Vivants, quai Branly for the foundation Good Planet in 2007 and organized the exhibition entitled Paris of Yann-Arthus Bertrand at Marmottan museum in 2008.
