Biography
Alexandre Desane is a self-taught actor, photographer and director.
After having acted in several theater and cinema projects, in 2020, he co-directed
a documentary series on self-taught people in France "In the jungle, with a little
butter knife...", supported by the CNC-Talent. Then he directed his first short film
film "L'enfant Orange" which presents the vision of racism from the point of view
of a black child.
Made in a totally independent way, "Crépus" is his first photo book
that celebrates frizzy hair.
In 2022, he played the lead role of psychiatrist Frantz Fanon in a feature film
film directed by Abdenour Zahzah currently in post-production.
