Biography
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Alessandra Montagne is now a leading figure on the Parisian culinary scene, renowned for her committed, no-waste cuisine and her work with the underprivileged. She was raised by her grandparents, market gardeners and poultry producers: on this family farm, nothing was wasted and everything was transformed on the spot. After working with BenoƮt Castel at the Grande Epicerie de Paris, William Ledeuil and Adeline Grattard, she opened the Nosso restaurant and then Tempero - a grocery store in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Her signature dishes include Brazilian and French influences, such as pao de queijo or spelt risotto with seasonal vegetables. Her generous, accessible cuisine based on products from the Ile-de-France region inspires many chefs today. She is associated with this edition, to which she invites her many accomplices, friends, producers and artisans.
