Rich in diverse influences (English, Italian, French, Vietnamese and Indian), Australian cuisine is a true fusion cuisine. Give us a taste of this endemic culture: markets, restaurants and any other local specialities! It's up to you to present the country through its gustatory treasures: the famous Australian barbecue, meat pie, grilled kangaroo or Vegemite toast... In the streets of Melbourne, at the Carriageworks Farmers Market in Sydney or in your own kitchen, share with us all the delicacies of the Land of Oz! This competition is organised on the occasion of the "Food Temple Australia" Festival, which will take place from 24 to 26 September 2021 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.

To each family, each culture, its secrets and its know-how, its ways of sharing a dish. For five years now, and for three days at the end of September, the Carreau du Temple has been keeping pace with good things with Food Temple. This year the festival welcomes a host of choice: Portugal. The watchword for these three days? Popular gastronomy, accessible to all. It promotes healthy and seasonal food, responsible agriculture supported by committed professionals. We meet there in a spirit of celebration and sharing, with our children, to celebrate the variety of good cuisine and the pleasure of being together. Food Temple offers the opportunity to experience the diversity of Portuguese cuisine with over 20 workshops, masterclasses, a local market, a Portuguese market, an exhibition, films and a brunch not to be missed.
