At the beginning of July in the heights of "la Drôme" between Saint-Nazaire le Désert and La Motte-Chalancon it's time for the fodder. Between the time of cutting and baling, the hay is left to dry for a few days in the form of long mounds called windrows. Seen from above this gives a variety of surprising and often abstract shapes.
