Tracing the road, for pleasure or necessity. Mile after mile, for sport or survival. Seeing landscapes go by more or less quickly, depending on whether you're travelling on foot, by bus or by train. Whatever the reason for crossing entire regions or countries, whether you're a hiker, a pilgrim, a migrant or a hitchhiker, every journey is an adventure, with varying degrees of success.
With Nomad's Land, we invite you to illustrate this notion of the journey, echoing the book Voyage vers le center du monde by Cristina De Middel, published by RM (Spain) and Textuel (France). A photograph by this Spanish photographer, a member of the Magnum Photos agency, was used to illustrate the poster for the Rencontres d'Arles in 2024. Each participant in the competition will be entitled to a 10% discount on the RM Editions website.
