Rencontres Photographiques du 10e
Launched in 2005 by the Mairie du 10e and the Château d'Eau library, the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e is a biennial event featuring exhibitions by amateur and professional photographers at various venues in the arrondissement. From the Town Hall to the garden gates, the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e gives the eighth art form a high profile for a month packed with events: exhibitions, lectures, screenings, workshops and evening events are organised throughout the biennial, always in a spirit of sharing, confrontation and openness, reflecting the many and fascinating facets of this borough. The Rencontres Photographiques du 10e is an open-air exhibition held in public spaces, with a programme that is 100% free, making art accessible to all. Since 2017 and for the 4th consecutive time, the artistic direction of the Rencontres Photographiques du 10e has been entrusted to the Fetart collective, which brings together 9 independent curators, including Emmanuelle Halkin, general curator of this 10th edition.
