On the initiative of the Department of Bouches-du-Rhone and carried by Provence Tourism, Marseille Provence Gastronomy 2019 is spread over all Bouches-du-Rhone to celebrate the popular art of gastronomy. It is also a year to celebrate the know-how of all the actors of a transversal and emblematic sector of our territory. From production to transformation, from production to service, everyone contributes to the building of a gastronomic destination of reference. Meetings of chefs, gourmet markets, picnics with a view, urban vegetable gardens ... It is a gastronomic journey to the detour of landscapes and exceptional products that emerges on the map of the territory from March to December. Through prestigious events or local events, the municipalities of Bouches-du-Rhône will highlight the flavors, recipes and traditional products of the soil, from the agricultural sector and local vineyards. A highlight also chefs and best tables, craftsmen of food and tableware and beyond, all those who work in the image of a gastronomic Provence. This new adventure, combining talent, passion and creativity, is designed to boost the Made in Provence and enhance the destination with visitors in search of quality and authenticity. Sponsored by three-star chef Gérald Passedat, Marseille Provence Gastronomy 2019 will be a gourmet and popular year, a generous and festive year, a great year!
