France Info is historically the leading news radio in France. It is the first European radio to have a website, inaugurated in 1962. On August 24, 2016, France Info became a global information site in continuity, following the merger of the activities of the radio with the site France TV Info, with the support of France Télévisions, Ina and France Médias Monde. On this occasion, the charter is reviewed and a new radio schedule is announced for August 29 in connection with the France Info television channel created on September 1st.
